College degrees should be free and available online to anyone. A poll could be done by colleges and universities all around the country to determine what the most pertinent subjects are for people to master in the current world we live in. I could imagine such important subjects as computer programming and applications, blogging/podcasting, business, sales and marketing, economics, history and current events, writing standards such as resumes and cover letters. Projects for the classes could be life-like job situations and real world problem solving where designing and creating are most important (instead of spitting back facts). It would be a place where anyone in the world would have access to a basic real world up to date education. People could use it for knowledge growth or for certification to post on resumes. If anyone else is interested in this idea, let me know, I would love to be involved in it!
